Within the Boundaries of the Connecticut
River Valley, there are two premium Factory Outlet Shopping Centers.
They are located only about 3 miles apart, on opposite sides
of I-95 in the Towns of Westbrook, and Clinton Connecticut. These
outlets are destinations of many thousands of shoppers every
single day, and during the Christmas Shopping season, they are
a TOP shopping destination in the State of Connecticut.
 Also within the CT
River Valley region, is the town of Old Saybrook. Although it
does not tout a Mall, it does offer the largest selection of
stores in all of the CT River Valley. Just a few of the many
hundreds of stores and services located along Route 1, AKA: the
Boston Post Road, are: Walmart, Stop and Shop, Wood Workers Warehouse,
Napa Auto Parts, West Marine (A Boaters Paradise), Staples Office
